The first time I heard that it was Del Boy on Only Fools and Horses (talking about Boycey). IIRC it was a reference to seedless Jaffa oranges. That programme must have left us with a load of phrases. My favourite is "Triggers Broom" - "I've had this broom for 20 years. It's had 12 new handles and 23 new heads". Still a classic
