1. These bikes come lean from the factory to please the EPA gods. Most mods to the intake and exhaust require adjustment to the carbs to compensate- jets, needles, etc. This is done for a few reasons - most being performance related- more air + more fuel, in the right combination = more power.

2. The AI is the air injection. Another EPA reg. We typically remove this before any performance mods. No.1 reason being to stop the exhaust pipes from blueing.
