Add some shiny bits as you wish. I drilled the bottom of my air filter and air box, then had the carb needles shimmed (1 shim), and I am plenty happy. One day will buy some pipes to wake her up, but the stealth mode is fun, too.
Honestly. I ride mine like a sportbike - knowing a true sportbike would easily out-maneuvre and out-run me, but NOBODY on a Harley Davidson is going to keep up with me on a cross-town ride through Houston. Same goes for any of the other 700 lb. cruisers out there, regardless of their displacement.
It's a best-kept secret.
