I need some urgent feed back regarding the touring seat and sissy bar when fitted to the Speedmaster. Does it make for a comfortable ride for the pillion? The demo model does'nt have this fitted so i need to convince the misses. She's over my 73 bonnie and tomorrow we test ride a speedmaster.

73, I have the touring saddle & short sissy bar with rack on my Speedy, specifically for my wife. She loves it, it's functional for luggage, and it looks good doing it.
Godd luck & enjoy!

The 07 has a much more comfy pillioin from what I have been told and the sissy bar is functional. There is also a post somewhere of a way to lower the luggage rack.

I have the touring seat and sissy bar on my bike. I have never had any complaints from any passengers.

Get the tall, not the short, sissy bar. Short one barely comes over your ******-cheeks, but the tall is a lower-back rest.

dittoes. The touring seat is very functional with a passenger. I put it on when I am likely to have a passenger and otherwise I run the stock gunfighter seat

Ditto as well. I have the Touring seat when 2 up. My wife places a smallish close cut sheepskin on it as well! The rest of the time I use the stock seat.

I have the touring seat and bar and no complaints. If your missus is of the long legged variety you might like to look at relocating the pegs it will make a lot of difference to her ride.

I have the touring seat and sb/lr. The seat is way better than stock for comfort.
