We have some of those #$%^& photo radar cameras here. They bite the big one.You get a ticket in the mail.Sounds like another step towards communism to me.I think they have to much control over us now. I like the idea of the Autophon in Germany.Forgive my lousey spelling. Great move on the young guys part!!!

We have them out my way also. Received a $50 fine in the mail several years back. The picture clearly shows me stopped at the intersection and the guy next to me 1/2 through. Because my front tire was over the white line at the intersection, it was considered running the light. I now hit gas vice brake for yellow lights.

We've got new ones here that are located at different sections of the same road. Therefore, when you go passed one, your time of passing is recorded & if you pass the next one in a time that indicates you have travelled over the speed limit to make it in that time, you're fined. Very unkind...

Aah, that's nothin'!!! I remember once back in '62 when I was but a pup living in California, I was forced by this one bad a$$ car club(The Pharaohs, I think their name was) who I had p*ssed off for some reason, to crawl under this one police car that was sittin' in a dark and secluded parking lot one night just waitin' for speeders to go by, and those dudes made me attach a chain to the rear axle of those cops' Plymouth , and the other end to a telephone pole...and........ (so BEAT THAT you dern Aussies!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Yeah, but this one really happened: A guy I knew in highschool had a late model Ford and he managed to bend the driveshaft by driving over a large rock. There was a 4 way stop at one corner of the school and a wheat field on the opposite corner where the cops used to park at lunch to try and catch kids running the stopsigns. Word was put out to behave untill the signal was given, and the guy stole the driveshaft from the copcar. He dragged it through the wheat to his car, then gave a wave and drove off. I had the '35 Ford at the time, and Another guy who had a near identical '36 coupe and I burned through the intersection and rounded a bend a block down at about 60. Cop got really upset when he tried to follow. Our town policing was contracted out to the county sheriff at that time, so there wasn't any backup nearby that he could call. Danny and I walked to school the next few days and the deputy was moved to an even worse area as punishment, so nobody got into trouble.
