Those are long! Casey had a set like that, ran them with no baffles. Those puppies were loud! Any problem cornering?

Loooong, alright. I suppose you've eliminated the need for a wheelie bar, too.

Added about 11 inches using HD drag pipes. Had a local muffler shop expand to 1 3/4 ID and slipped them on. She corners the same but the sparks fly when I do wheelies lol.The main reason I did this, was to get back even with the hard bags I plan to buy.

Think it will look killer with the bags on. I agree with Dog though the fishtails would really do it. But I dig the long low look every now and again. Thank you for doing some different.

I like the look of the pipes, they work well with the bike. Took a lot of talent, effort, and creativity for the solo-finishers, but I'm not digging them.

The bags hug the pipes and the rear fender so perfectly........oh my god. I think it just moved a little. Love the long as ****** turned out look, so sweet. It's so nice when you see something different. This is it.

Dude, that's waaay cool looking. You should consider adding some heft to the front end for visual balance, I'm thinking lightbar...

Thanks, for your comments. When I bought this bike bags where out of the question! But I got tired of carring stuff around my pockets. I'm very happy with the look of these bags, they fit better than I thought would.

Do you ride with a passenger? Those bags look great, and I'm wondering they would work with someone the passenger pillion. Here's a shot of my bike and the bag/shock perspective. Looks like there is a few inches of leg room with these smaller bags:

I think you have yourself a nice bagger there! I wonder how the pipes would look turned down in the rear instead of out? Either way, nice job man. Looks good.

Hey there, I am new to the forum and have only had my TBA for 1 month. I used to have harleys ,now i have woken up(gave myself an upper cut). However I used to tinker with them aswell. Just wondering what carby mods have you done for these because I am building a set of the cannons aswell here in Qld Australia. (I bet they sound great) Dan

Welcome Dan. Make sure you yank the Air Injection off and jet the engine to fit your new pipes. There is a "carb jetting calculator" made by member Dinqua in the "Downloads" section. It works well. If you list your bike/setup on the forum, you'll get lots of jetting advice. Almost everyone tinkers here to some extent, they run much better when jetted correctly.

I have 135 mains and 3 1/2 turn on the air fuel screw. Also have the air box drilled out and desnorkled. Old Neon Nellie is pretty loud with straight pipes(but I like it)lost a little bottom end to about 2900 rpm after that she rip's.

Dan, I live in Brisbane, Getting the AI removed, Pipes Drilled, baffles removed from stock pipes and Carbs rejetted by my dealer & still under warranty- pretty common practice & first thing you got to do. stops the pipes from blueing, gives a bit more boost and sounds a lot better. Give Mark a ring @ Moto Arena - Nerang, all up costs $400 extra Hoffo
