(from the song-"[This Is]The End", by The Doors) Okay all you people living OUT WEST(and/or living in the east and for some unfortunate reason) are NOT going to that fancy-shmancy Georgia Rally thing!!! I DON'T want all those EASTERN "blatherers" going to that little shindig o' theirs back there to think that while THEY'RE away from the boards that WE(far more enlightened) souls inhabiting lands west of the Mississippi(or east, if you're, once again, not able to attend it) can't handle the burden of supplying BOUNTIFUL BEDAZZLING BLATHER here on this site while those turkeys BACK EAST are having their little get-together. You see, I KNOW what THEY'RE thinkin': "Those poor yokels out there in THE WEST, if they're not out on their bikes and decide to sign into the site here, will probably just sits around their computers while WE'RE out having the time of their lives and will probably do nothing more than talk about the ordinary sundry topics that would put the average man to sleep in 5 minutes...until WE RETURN to the boards, that is!" Well, I for ONE am NOT going to let THAT happen!!! So...LET'S HEAR IT, DUDES! Let's SHOW 'em!!! Let the blathering BEGIN!!!   (I don't know why, but all of a sudden I feel like John Belushi in that "Animal House" movie, with his rallying cry..."Did we GIVE UP when the GERMANS bombed PEARL HARBOR???!!!")

WEST SYIIIEEED!!!! We RULE!!! I for one will be strapping my fly rod to my bike and heading for the hills. Its supposed to be 80 degrees in the valley this weekend. WHOHOO! I am going to fish all morning and ride through the beautiful mountains of Utah all afternoon.

I am still working on it. It will definately be a last minute decision based on $$$ and time off. I will let you know. We had been saving our vacation time for a wedding in Mexico but it may not happen. Still waiting on the bride and groom to get their crap together.
HAHAA! I will BLATHER with you anytime Dwight! I think some people around here have thin skin. Being a "Yute" I kinda don't get it. Maybe we are just more laid back here in the West.

I realize making grammatical corrections can be more inflammatory than simple blathering (I think horses do that with "viral strangles", makes them all hacky & snotty)
But in your original thought, I believe you actually meant (North) West, possibly Pacific (North)West?

Well John, I guess if one's of the mind to appreciate the "wetter things in life"(such as constant rainfall), I suppose we COULD include the NORTHwest into this here equation. (it DOES make things nice and green, ya know, and brings a very nice patina of rust to some stuff too)

Well I only spend a couple hours here in the evening, but I'm certainly willing to contribute my share of blatherage. By "West", do we refer to west of the Mississippi (the old way), or the more modern west of the continental divide? (The new Mason-Dixon line). That's always been my reference point. Anyhow, I didn't notice any difference with those Old Worlders busy elsewhere.

Well, Dwighty, since I don't yet have my bike out of storage, and couldn't have gone now anyhow due to a couple of very temperamental and complex grinding machines that seem determined to NOT run right, I will have to sit here and blather too!! Although, finally, today I will get blue back, and Thursday, I went in an took the first step and updated my resume on the Denver Post Website. Not actively seeking yet, just kind of "lurking" on the job boards, but if something were to poke up it's head, I certainly wouldn't sneeze at it! Right now, I've had enough of job hunting, moving, etc..., that I just want a semi-normal life for a little while, and then I'll jump back in! Besides, got to time the next move to happen over next summer, so I have at least one more winter in New England (I can already feel it in my joints!)...
