I saw cosmetical difference between 07 and previous Speedy, I like more '07, but with '05-'06 at a so good price I don't think it'll go to change so far my life.
I saw I can remove rear peg brackets and pegs can be mounted together with pipe brackets.
Who did this mod has noticed more vibrations on pegs?
Also sprocket cover can be changed with a nice small Bonneville Black's.
The mods I'll do are airbox with snorkel removal, hole enlargment and second hole on the bottom of the airbox.
I'm really sure with 2 big oval 3x2" holes and an UNI or K&N air filter that is twice as big as a pod (so the same as two pods on carbs) it can deliver the same good power/torque of a freak.
With that mod I'm thinking to use a 140 main get and 45 pilot, with 3 or 4 shims under stock or different tuned TBS needles.
AI removal of course.
The pipe mod is a couple of by myself hand made 304 stainless steel pipes. My cousin is ready with it's bender machine into his car service at
http://www.lamarmitta.it I want to build headers half inch bigger diameter than stock, without compensator pipe, for better flow and distinct sound from each cylinder.
I'll polish them to a mirror finish. The headers soon will become bronze due to heat, I think it's not bad on a black Speedy.
