Lets not over look the catalyst in the pipes in the 07. Not sure if that is an issue for you but something to consider. 07 also has different wheels , sprocket cover , front peg hangers , black engine cases on both America and SM America having chrome outer covers , the pillion seat is different. Thats all I can think of not sure if I got em all.
I think it might have been seen as too political Mechano or possibly offencive to Americans,personally as an American I think you can say what you want thats part of being an American.
