Other than some colour changes, the '05 and '06 are not significantly different. The '07 has different styled pipes and wheels, but no major mechanical changes.
These bikes are really well designed, and have no serious inherent flaws to watch for. Since the ignition is electronic, it would be a good idea to test ride the bike long enough to reach full operating temperature because, like everyone else's, the electronics can become heat sensitive.
Unfortunately, the UK went totally metric including the monetary system some years ago, so you will need some new tools.
