Of course. Loquacious sounds less vulgar, like referring to a "social disease" in the following quote, instead of "the clap". Means the same thing but sounds more acceptable . Perception is reality.

Now then (just taking an opportunity to educate the masses ) that "rhea" suffix in those Latin based words means the same thing in all of them. That is. a runny condition.
