Cold cast is a type of resin casting. Take 1 part resin and 1 part powdered metal, mix then pour into your silicon mold and prey. If successful you pop out a copy of your sculpture in a metal/ resin bond. Powdered metals come in all flavors including brass and copper. These can then be buffed and treaded the same as a hot mold (except cold cast does not have the heat resistant properties as say a traditional cast) at a fraction of the cost.
