New D&D pipes should arrive from Brent tomorrow.
I can fit the pipes & probably the AI removal kit,but think I'll wait until a mate with a lot more mechanical ability is available to re-jet Even with Dinqua's excellent instructions may be beyond my very limited ability
THE QUESTION IS,will it harm the motor to ride bike before fitting the jets supplied with pipes?
All advice gratefully received

Won't hurt it. It will just run better with jetting.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

Thanks Mate, that was quick. If I'm ever in the old USofA I'll buy you a beer(or at least drink 20 or 40 of your home brews)
If you or any members are ever in the land of Aus. look us up ,theres always a spare bed in the beautiful seaside village of Hat Head

Give it a try. Whether or not you have to rejet depends on the pipes. When I put my Epcos on, the bike ran like crap before I put the new jets in.

D&Ds are on sounds awesome & seems to run ok It seems it is idling faster than before.I was expecting the pipes to come with new main jets but there was just 2 size 45 pilot jets.
Using Pat's jetting calculator it appears that if I fit the 45 pilots & remove top snorkel i should fit 131 mains.Does this sound right
