Clutch disks, brakes, oil, filters, tires and the like are usualy considered "consumables" under a warranty claim. Anything that wears down under normal use isn't considered a warranty item as far as I know. If the OEM forgot a bolt when doing the assy. or didn't tighten something before delivery, that should be covered. Riding the brakes or skidding the tire at every light or doing something not recommended (ie. burnouts or racing) in the users manual will void the warranty. So if you told the dealer you do burnouts and you bring your bike in for a serious warranty problem in the future, they could deny the claim stating that it may have arose when you did a burnout.

btw. My speedo cable failed at the end of my first season on my America. The stealer wouldn't cover it and they said "they knew that there was a problem with them" but didn't keep any in stock. I had to wait 3 weeks to get a new one.
