My favorite bike is the bobber, always has been. So a couple of years ago I decided to go flat black. Spent a bunch of time and money using a flattening agent and well long story short, never again. From now on I'm going with the rattle can. Flat black means no buffing, no waxing and no way to get rid of those annoying little surface scratches that appear from time to time. My son scratched the he!! out my rear fender recently ( he's fine and his new teeth look great )any way not having much time I sanded said fender and sprayed with flat rattle can about 12 coats, IMO it looks better than the tank and cost a lot less. What I'm looking for is someone with a better idea that is cost effective.
