Loud. Too loud for me being that they are right under me. but that is subjective. They have a vintage tone. I should mention that I jacked around with the baffels some. I had bent the 'tounge' up to make the more free flowing- they're free all right! I bent it back down and it helped a lot, but still too much for me.
