Spoke to him today, he's fine. He was in hospital for a few hours for checks then they said he was fit to go. Good news, we were worried at first but looks like it was shock/ concussion..
I'm going to start carrying a First aid kit from now.
Another lesson is to avoid the moors when there's fog! Poor visibility (fog, visor, specs and dare I say age might be against our mate) combined with treacherous slippy twisties...something was bound to go wrong.
His bike (TT 600) is written off but think he intends to fix one of the two classic bikes he has and carry on riding something possibly a bit tamer
