Here's a newbie question for you. How many kilometers could you safely expect from a tank of gas? City vs. Highway?

For me, anywhere from 215-235 before I hit reserve. No idea how far I can go after that.

I don't get ANY Km per tank. We don't have those in the states. My bike gets about 140 MILES before reserve though!
Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

I don't go much more than 150-ish before fueling up. It's a good excuse to get off the bike and stretch anyway. I haven't needed to switch to reserve yet though.

On the (ridiculously stock) Speedie I was getting to around 200km and thinking I should fill up. I think I got to around 240 but I was getting worried at that point as I was in the middle of nowhere... literally.
On my America I'll run it to reserve, but I won't go beyond 20 miles on it. It should do around 40 miles on reserve but I don't like to push it.

03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel...
06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel...
09 America - It's very blue....

I get about 134-140 miles per tank before reserve, city or highway. Now what that is in Km, will forever be mystery to me

Forever must be a very short time Depending on the riding I am doing, I am getting a little bit better than you. Not by much though. I usually try to run at about 4750 rpm though, for my bike it seems to be the sweet spot of where I get the best mileage and performance together. Soren

I get 41 to 50 miles (65.98 to 80.47 km) per gallon (3.79 l). Or 17 to 21 km per liter. Depending on conditions.

I try not to drive more than 120 miles ( about 200 km) between gas stops. I am paranoid about running out . fill up, reset your counter when it hits 200 look for gas.

I always drive until I run out of gas. When I switch to reserve I notice my mileage and make a point of buying gas within 20 miles. I reset the odometer when I fill up. I get about 40 mpg and usually hit the reserve 130-135 miles (more when highway riding).

On a slab trip, I'm into the reserve at around 100 miles. It's more like 130 miles on the rural roads.

It also would depend on how full you fill the tank. Just a little more could be another 10 miles before reserve.

I average about 130 miles per tank, and get about 37 mpg. I by no means baby it, though.

I don't tend to let the tank get as low as reserve much tho been told it's good thing to do once in a while just to make sure all's working. Tend to fill up at around 100 mile mark usually but have managed around 140 mile/ 225 km before hitting reserve...
Sometimes it takes a whole tank full of fuel before you think straight
