A Brit's view.
At work we put the London Evening Standard out on the tables in first class. It's one of the reasons they pay twice the price - a free news paper, free coffee and a comfy seat. On the front page yesterday was the pic of the idiot (The AUP won't let me put exactly what I think of him) - the pic down the barrel of the gun. The punters could not understand why when they weren't reading it I turned it over. I found that a really disturbing thing to look at. It had a paragraph (read 3 or 4 lines) on each of the victims inside. The Times had about the lecturer who'd survived the Holocaust but dies protecting his students...I think that was either on the front page or page 2... He's a real hero.
Rob, you are voicing what any sensible person is thinking. Just most won't think about doing something about it.
