Noticed a little "bumper" on the rear caliper - looks like it might contact the rotor before the pads wear out. Checked my rears with a flashlight, and have more pad left than I thought I would, with 5900 miles. I have been conscious of premature rear pad wear out, since so many of you have experienced it already - I try to let the fronts take the brunt of the work, but always use the rear first, just like the man says...break the inertia, then apply fronts with equal or greater pressure? The dual rotors really do well. Just looks like that bumper thing might be useful for something...
