I saw on the news they are considering a speed limit on the autobaun. They did a study of emissions and fuel efficency and discovered over a certain speed emissions increase and fuel economy decrease. I don't remember the speed they stated.

Most studies say 60 MPH, but in reality it's gonna be different for every car depending on gearing, etc. I saw a video from a chopper of a police chase on the autobahn once, the perp went under an overpass, and nothing bit scrap metal came out the other side. Almost like it went thru a shredder.
