Jaeger, no the pegs pictured aren't powder coated. As these items are custom made to order, I used a polished set for pics. Having installed products for years, with less than informative instructions, ours are as thorough as I can make them, leaving little to chance. Drilling is limited to 5 small holes, 2 on the left boot guard aft of the foot peg, and 3 on the right in the same location. These areas are scuff guards and non-structural in design. The heel pegs place your boot/shoe toe under the shifter/brake pedal.
All you need is a 1/4"-3/8" drill and a 3/16" bit. Everything else is included.
I've been running mine for almost 1-1/2 yrs. They work for me. Glad you like them.
