Good evening folks,
After reading GinaS's post and plight I thought it fitting to let EVERYONE know MY dealer has been nothing but exceptional in regard to my latest brain fart! Some of you may have read a post I listed about destroying my 04 America. To finish my saga; I am now riding a new 07 America with my greatest appreciation to GEICO insurance whom I have only been with a WEEK!

As for my dealer, D&D Cycles Pensacola, FL., they have been nothing but accommodating to me. I bought my 04 and 07 Americas from them. They transferred ALL my accessories, ($3500 plus) from the 04 to the 07 for zip, nada, nil, nothing. This entailed about 2 days worth of manpower (1) and if that wasn't bad enough they managed to severely scratch my windshield which was still pristine even after the accident. My dealer replaced the $350 windshield assembly for FREE!!!!! I offered to pay for half the cost of their cost for the windshield since they did all my labor for free to move accessories from bike to bike with a resounding NO! I couldn't be happier! We should all have dealers like Robert and Julie McLendon. If ever in the area stop in and say hi, they would appreciate it!

My two cents on a GREAT area dealer.

R,
Mark

Good experiences with a dealer in Roxboro NC, Fox's. But they just won't work for free......

Hey, I stopped by D&D last time I was down there. Seemed like a pretty kool small place. I remember the staff trying to be really helpful even though I really wasn't looking to spend any money (unlike the guys at the Denver stealerships.) If I wind up moving back down there (which is entirely possible) I'll have to make sure and make some friends there.

What did you do with your 07 Exhaust Pipes. Did you change them out or do you still have them on your new bike.

it's good to hear that there are some quality dealers out there. seems like every couple of days we hear someone rant about a P.O.S. dealer scamming them out of money.

i bought my first Triumph when i lived in Denver. and i totally agree with benjammin. the account girl, Franchezka, was nice though.

still wishing there were a dealership in Louisiana.

Thorn,
You know, there might be a few of us that have enough moola laying around WE could all open a dealership and maybe have a place to drink a beer after hours! As for my muffs, I still have them on and ordered some packing today to try and quiet them down. If that doesn't work, they are coming off the bike. I'm old enough and deaf enough NOW not toadd to my woes! I'l keep you all posted on my progress. I want to mount my new Willie/Max bags to see if they might baffle some of the noise too!

Regards,
Mark

Hey Fillo,

I deal with Echo also, bought both my America and Speedy there from Rick and Dave respectively. Have to get my Speedy down there right away for a check up. Have you been out riding yet? I am still waiting for it to dry up enough up here!!!
