I know what you mean about the Honda. I've heard people talking about a "ticking" sound in the Sabre at times that seems to come and go. I guess you could have problems with any bike.
The cool thing is there is a dealership about 20 minutes from my house that sells both Triumphs and Hondas. I can do some side by side looking at the two. Then, I'll come bug you guys for pointers on what to look for in a used bike.
