I am looking at customising my speedy with a solo seat and modified rear guard. I noticed in the photos many bikes with trimmed rear guards but dont really want to cut my original one. Is there somewhere where i can buy custom guards preferably in Australia.

Phil C If you dont believe there's a price for this sweet paradise Remind me to show you the scars...

Look on ebay - there is a set - custom tank, rear fender, and front fender. Needs paint.

That makes it yours!! Not a Hardley fender. Very cool I like the look. I have been mulling over a tail dragger for my rear fender.

Soren, unfortunatly not me, but if you go to the thread CUSTOM MUDGUARDS FOR SPEEDMASTERS AND AMERICA'S, you'll find WAL's email addy.
Collected mine personnaly, seems a nice enough guy, had some other stuff there, mainly Hardly that he had made, and all looked pretty good. Only problem I found was that the fender was about 1/2 narrower, but sorted it with some threaded inserts Aroldited to the inside that draw into the mounting rails when tightened up, pulls the fender out a bit. These are realy strongly made, and it'll take Two up with all your camping gear no probs. For the price it's a bargin, and you still have the original to put back on if you want.

Looking good Andy! Coud you post a better pic where one can see the whole bike? What about paint? Did you do it yourself?
