OP midget11 Greenhorn Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 37 Wheeling,WV	We are wiring the bonneville bobber project using factory ign/harness-problem? no fire @ coils-only 4.6 volts to coils-we are not using factory controls,handlebar switches,headlight,taillight,kickstand, but we are using the ign switch,charging system,coils,please help!

Carefully checking points of connections with multimeter, including kickstand switch, kill switch, ignition and coil. 1200CC BIG BORE, W/WISECO PISTONS,.250 STROKED CRANK, PORTED/POLISHED HEADS AND LARGER VALVES, CUSTOM WELDED EXHUAST, DUAL 42MM MIKUNI CARBS.

If that's the hot side, it sounds like the coils are wired in series with something else, maybe a light circuit or the tach.
