There is a really nice article on the re-designed ST in this months RoadBike. It was a 4 page article of a test. It made me want to test ride one. The size of the engine has been increased also. Very nice looking.

Except, from what I read, dealers don't have them. Same with the S3 (Speed Triple).

Personally, I think Triumph is in over it's head. That is, they are where Harley was a few years ago - they can't make enough bikes to meet demand, and don't have the capital to expand production.

And yes, the Sprint (and S3) is a really fine motorcycle.

I'm really interested in the new ST. I'll wait until the dealers here in the States can supply them with all the accessories before I look too closely, however.

Hiya Pes
Had a ride on one for a couple of hours.
Fantastic engine. Great bike.

I wanted one then realised I might as well set fire to my license if I had one ...

Thought I was doin' around 70 - 80 mph when I looked at the speedo and saw 120!! Ooops!!

Stop bleating man

You had the Rocket first and we had to wait bleedin' ages for 'em so we get the ST first!!

Have seen quite a few over here.

I think it is to do with the dopey 'crotch rocket' mentality of many Brit bikers.

There is such a massive market for 'em over here.

I imagine Triumph sees the US as a cruiser market and the sports tourers and the rest go to Europe first. Dunno, just guessing!!

A visit to the T595 board proves this - in spades!

They've not too many nice things to say about the Bonny/America/Speedy line, too.
