I missed that one. Might as well get it done in the daylight hours with a jack etc., as opposed to the shoulder of I-666. Where would I find the ground you mentioned on a Speedmaster?
I have Kuryakyn voltmeter mounted on the console, which is likely reasonably accurate, all things considered. After a brief 3 second starter cycle, the voltage drops like a rock, from 12 volts down to 9 or 10 volts.
Tomorrow I'm going to order one of those 209 CCA NAPA batteries listed in the tech vault. With any luck, I'll score a fresh one. I'll check back in Wednesday after an over night charge up prior to trying the new battery.
