There was a guy in my neighborhood who bought and sold collector cars all the time. Seeemed that every week there was a car carrier coming down the street with an old corvette or jaguar.
One day I heard the sound of the truck and looked out to see a '69 Shelby Cobra, my absolute favorite car.
This car was perfect in every way. of couse it had practically no mileage.
As I recall he paid about $36k for it several years ago and sold it about four months later for $42k.
Just seeing one makes my blood percolate.
