Hey guys, I have a broken clutch cable. While I have ordered a new Barnett clutch, gasket and lever seal along with a cable- does anyone have any cross reference experience as far as another cable that might be able to be used in the interim? Then I'll have a spare. Vic

I have a quick fix if you just want to ride until you get what you want. Harley used a clamp type barrel on the rear break cable of the old sportsters. You can slide the cable through it and clamp down..presto...fixed and costs like $5. I carry one in my tool bag incase of broken cable just like I carry a chain breaker and 2 master links and a set of pulgs , zip ties etc..
