it came to my attention that the custom avatars were being abused. I ran a query to eliminate the non-stock avatars, and long story short, removed everyone's. Sorry. If you want your tank avatar back, just edit your profile settings.

Hey! This doesn't mean you guys are also gonna take the Custom Bike Forum away TOO, does it???

(I mean....some of THOSE THINGS are pretty obscene TOO, ya know!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Robert is a newbie because his name is one of the ones ommited when the system hiccuped awhile back (every name with "ert" in it) and he didn't "go" anywhere.

I never see him chime in, I was just curious. is he the owner? creator? I did not mean it in an abrasive way.

The Blue one is missing too. (Whine whine sniff sniff)

In the short time they were turned on, it turned into a nightmare to manage.

However, I have something in mind and will be posting a thread in a minute.

I feel like I am friends with Robert with all of the endearing words used to describe him from folks on this site I consider close friends. Though I am still mighty saddened by the loss of Ade, I am a little cheerier this morning seeing "Robert" on the forum. Three cheers for the inventor, creator, administrator, and all around good egg!

Thanks Robert, and welcome back to the masses!

Yeah, I know you have been sharing that moderators condo in Maui.

Are the mod's, like the "others" on LOST?

Not that it matters but I agree with getting rid of the custom avatars.

My teen boys often look over my shoulder as I read this forum so I am glad I don't have to be embarassed.
Even though I didn't see any "bad taste" avatars on this site...it was probably just a matter of time before it becomes like other sites (i.e. vtxoa).

thanks!

The yellow ones are rare, desirable, and very fast. It probably isn't fair to the other members to keep exposing them to an icon of such a superior motorcycle. I think that is why they took it away.
