Geez Ian! When I first saw your first new avatar that you posted, I just thought that after I called you a "dumb-sh*t" in that little helmet debate that we had goin' last week, that you were simply tryin' to correct me and tell the world that you preferred to be known in the future as a "dick-head" instead!!! (I hear ya...BUT, as I ALSO mentioned in that "helmet debate", I often consider myself a "dick-head" TOO....so please don't take offense here ol' buddy....I just couldn't pass up this opportunity for a little kiddin' around) (and besides....I STILL owe ya that beer one day, Dude!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

It's cool Dwight I expect it from you now. LOL Well in a way that kinda was the joke. My fart pic gets deleted and admin gets snippy but another guy can post one that says say it plowed on it?

I see that now but at the time I didn't know. I can take the ribbing but like I said I didn't know that was what it was then. My reaction would have been totally different.

....and if you guys haven't noticed, my avatar(that Soren so graciously offered up to me in a PM...thanks again Soren), is the back end of a Beck 550 Spyder that is an exact replica of the Porsche James Dean was driving when killed. According to legend, Mr. Dean had "The King of Customized Cars", George Barris, paint the words "Little B*stard" on the back of it, just before he met his fate in the thing.(if ya look REEEEAAALLL closely you can read it) And, with the possible exception of the "Little" part of that script, I think we can all pretty much agree that that designation is often pretty much appropriate for Yours Truly around here, RIGHT?!)

Dwights like Scotch...it's an aquired taste...some never get it some do... But then I LIKE Scotch...so... And I have had the pleasure of meeting and hosting Dwight at my home...not an ill meaning bone about him...but dripping with sarcasm and prefectly happy to "bust-em" (and have them busted back) He can darken my door step anytime

Okay! Well NOW that we've settled THAT little bone of contention around here, I have to admit that I now have a genuine warm feeling about all you knuckleheads, and just like Sally Field pickin' up her Oscar a few years back, all I can say is...... "You LIKE ME! You REALLY LIKE ME!!!"

Well put Ed(biker). Once again, a small group has ruined it for everyone. Most of the avatars were clever, but some were offensive. Now Phil is upset, as he should be. What's the point of taking things to the limit, and pushing the mod's buttons? They don't get paid for what they do, and should be respected, not hassled.
This is a private, FREE site, and membership is a privilege, not a right, If you can't live by the rules, don't log on. Simple as that. If you don't like it, go someplace else.
I've only been a member for a little over a year, but I've enjoyed the friends I've made, the rides, and the comraderie.
Rant over, Uncle Charlie

I didn't mean any of the pix I used to be offencive except maybe the 2nd one since I was a little POed at the time. They were intended to be humorous. I didn't see a big deal about the fart one figured it was funny and everyone does it. When I got guff for any of them I removed them right away except the 2nd one again that was removed by whoever. Then I saw the one about "plowed" and simply pointed out that that was as offencive or more so than my fart one. Nothing is offencive to me unless you attack me directly and maybe that was part of the problem. I considered them funny and they were intended as such again except that one. I was looking for something silly. Sorry if it went too far and I'll leave it at that.

P.S. the fart one was removed for me but only because I couldn't figure out how to do it.I still don't know how to get a pic out of the gallery. I see the delete box but don't know what to do once it is checked.

P.P.S. The first one I didn't think a little kid would see anything. It's like a drawing I have that if you are a child all you will see is dolphins but if you are an adult you see people having sex.For an adult it is very hard to see the dolphins and for some impossible for a child they see nothing else. Again I apologise and to Mr. Administrator too.

Geez Dog, Don't keep beating a dead horse, there are guidelines, just try to stay within them, that's all.
And by the way, I'm looking forward to meeting you in the future. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed most of your posts, and I appreciate your years of experience with Triumphs. But, a degree of civility must be maintained. I hope you understand.
Anyway, will we see you in GA? Uncle Charlie
