Thurs and Friday of this past week Terry (Tmax), his son Glyn, Levi (Wyrm74), and myself (nuthin) rode up to the Talimena Byway on the Oklahoma and Arkansas border. It was an amazing ride in the mountains. Twists and turns running along the ridge of the mountain. If you haven't been there you should make plans to get there. We stayed at the Queen Wilhelmina lodge on top of the mountain. I thought I would post a few pics for you boys still snowed in up north.

Levi and I met up and rode to Terry's house where Glyn cooked up breakfast burritos for everybody.

We convinced Terry to take his America on the trip, but he really wanted to take his mini bike.

A few hours later we found ourselves in the mountains. We stopped to stretch our legs and to take in the view.

Terry and his 16 year old son Glyn who both ride 02 Americas.

Levi and his bike.

Me and my bike on top of the mountain.

We stayed at the Queen Wilhelmina lodge and woke up to 32 degree temps and frost covering our bikes. We decided to hit the all you can eat breakfast buffet and let the frost burn off.

We took a group photo before heading back down the mountain.

We found this great little repair shop that had seen it's better days. We just had to stop and snap some pics.

All in all it was a great trip. I'll certainly be up there again soon!

Looks like you all had a great time, nuthin. Was that Lodge very expensive? Last time I went by there was in August with temps around 100. I prefer frost
Great pics. I wish Angleis and I could have met up with you all.

We'll have to get the Texas boys and the Oklahoma crew together at the lodge sometime! It was ahbout 75 dollars for a double room. It would be a great place for a Rally!

Yeah, those other guys sure had a good time riding with me. Really, it was an outstanding trip, if a little chilly on the way home. If anyone gets the chance to ride with Terry, Glyn, and Nathen, I suggest doing it. You couldn't ask for better company on a ride, and the byway up to the lodge is AWESOME!

Not you fat Jesus!
