If you want comfort and functionality then get a pair of motorcycle specific boots. Most generic boots are ok, but for one reason or another not the best for riding. I have a pair of Triumph Cruiser boots (which they don't make anymore). They are extremely comfortable, waterproof, and designed for riding.
