I was talking to someone about tractors. I have been working mine pretty hard the last several days with no problems at all and mentioned that I love my Deere. Then the OL started getting all google eyed and I suddenly realized that she thought I meant her! Dingblasted wimmin and their silly notions....

It looks good for what it does, but I don't think it would work for me. I really need the 3 point Ferguson type rear lift for a lot of the work I do here.

Ron,
Is that what a Fishercat looks like ?
One mean looking dude I would not want to run across that thing in the woods. Look at the teeth on that bad boy.
What do those things eat?

That's why I went the route of boat owners and named my bike after my wife.

John, Fishercats or Fishers eat Porcupines, Squirrels and the occasional house cat. It's the only animal that can kill and eat a porcupine. Special enyzimes in their saliva will desolve the quils. They're also the fastest tree climbing animal in North America.
Nasty critters but very cool.

I have an International TD6 I like to play with. If ya know anyone I was thinking about selling it for something a little more modern. I think its either a 59 or 60. Gas over diesel.

I looked at those. The older ones just don't have the sound that you get from a Deere twin and the new ones have an engine made by itsybitsy.

Well the little Deeres are made in Japan. The problem in my house is that I grew up on a green farm and the wife grew up on a red farm. I'm hopefully picking up a International 606 from a friend to fix up this spring. I'm sick of shoveling and I have a lot of wood down that needs to be hauled up to the house.

Hey Ron (Fishercat)...We were hiking in Algonquin Park when we must have interrupted a Fisher on the hunt. He came tearing at us through the brush, growling & snarling..couldn't see him at 1st, then he jumped up on the side of a tree growling (telling us off I'm sure). Man he was one ticked off Fisher! Came close to needing a underwear change. A beautiful animal though.
