I like this Cortec jacket-- very warm in winter and has many flaps for summer-- cheap too.

They did have a better selection of sizes for women.

Let's get small.

I just got the Triumph Sympatex Pantha jacket today. I haven't used it yet but it looks like it'll work great for all occasions. It has a zipout lining and tons of vents. It's kind of pricy but what the ******. I got mine from North County Triumph in San Marcos, CA for about $295 including tax and shipping. Triumph has it lised for $310.

It's getting hot here in Florida. What's the coolest most breathable jacket Triumph makes?

I've never owned all the Triumph variants, but I do own the rochester. It doesn't get as hot as FL up here in VA during the summer, but we do get some hot muggy days. The rochester is very comfortable (even being black). Comes down to whether you like the huge Triumph logo on the back or not.

Regards,

Tom

I don't know about really hot weather but I can tell you in warm weather I was suprised how well the vents work in the leather Highway jacket! I would imagine same is true for any of the jackets with the zipper vents in arms and back.

The Rochester Mesh Jacket is one I was looking at. Seems to be perforated and has vents. Can anyone further down south vouch for this jacket?

I recently bought the Team Blouson jacket but I'm also interested in the Rochester Mesh Jacket. I was hoping to try one on, but the dealer didn't have one in stock. I would assume that a mesh jacket with vents should be ok in warm weather. I also have a leather jacket with zip out liner.

I've come to realize that you need 2 or 3 jackets to cover cold to hot weather we have here.

Try on a mesh jacket somewhere before you get one, even if its not a triumph one. I found the mesh kind of clinged to my arms, felt weird. I have the hiway jacket which is vented well ( as long as you are moving) but a perforated jacket is like the best of both worlds. Not clingy like mesh, but very holey

I'm in Louisiana... about as hot and muggy and "south" as you can get.

I wear a Alpine Stars Mesh Jacket, and yes, it does cling to your arms. when i pull it off, i've got little lines on my arms where the lining stuck. it also has removable insulation for the winter.

it's extremely vented, but honestly, i only wear it if i'm going on a long ride on the interstate or if i know i'll be doing serious riding. ANY jacket in the hot weather is too much for me.

if you want a jacke for the armor and if you'll be wearing it often, go with the mesh jacket.

While in Oz I wore a Joe Rocket mesh jacket. Was the whole of $35 from a clearout as newenough.com Couldn't recommend that enough. I'm not used to riding in really hot weather (just remember I live in the country of rain) and it made it bearable. Came with a shower/waterproof liner - not sure how good that was as I didn't test it. Also had a complete set of armour. And really was $35.
It's not hot enough for it here, but give global warming a chance...
Oh and it was a female one and fitted perfectly!

If you want a Triumph jacket that is good for warm weather and don't want a mesh one, try the Integra. Mine is just starting it's third summer.
