I took my backrest off today to see if I could raise it up and apparently it is made in Italy.

Depending on the year of your bike, your ing coils could be from Italia too.

The stock seat on the Speedmaster is too. Parts are made from all over on this bike.

It's not the WHOLE wheels that're made in italy, just the rims.

I have a scare on my left thumb made in Italy! (Rocco Rossa 1977)

Skiing, ran over my thumb and layed it open...I know, kind of hard to picture but it was kind of like basketball rolling down a hill.

Backpacking thru Europe......

Brindisi, Italy waiting for the ferry going to Greece (Korfu)..... 3 hours to departure and HOT...... so decided to go for a refreshing swim in the Adriatic Sea.......

Found a spot near the harbour where it looked ok to jump in the water..... it was....... but on the way up i stepped on a broken bottle....

Haven't had any home made grappa in a long time. I love Italian products. It could be my thick Calabrase head, growing up in a shop that did high end Italian autos as a specialty, or just my love of fine bikes and autos.

OH ya, our shop has added a fine Italian product to our line up. MV Agusta. Ducati is a month or so behind them too.

Harley does it, and Revtech with it's engines. Designed in USA, made in the east with russian and chinese steel and assembled in Taiwan.

What about that "Proudly Made in USA"?
Ahahah comunist steel into american engines...

Scar on my left leg was made in Cambodia 1975.
I finally learned to live with it.
HOWEVER! I have no problem with "made in Italy" I think my wheels are leftover MotoGuzzi parts!

Harley engines are made in Milwaukee - I've been to the plant and watched them being made.

Not all of them. Many are built in the York, PA plant and the complete V-Rods are built in Kansas City if I am not mistaken. I seen it on Discovery Channel once.

Meant to take a HD plant tour when I hauled white ce-ment out of York.
Shoulda bought their stock then too, as they were on their butt financially at that point.
Never made the time for either. Maybe next life.

Not anymore!! The York plant is gone last I heard. They tried to go on strike and Hardley decided it was better to just close the plant! We were gonna go take the tour for a place to ride to. It was also on CNN.

They must be doing better than I thought to afford to moth ball a facility that big. The York plant is 1.5 million square feet under roof.
