I had a Panhead. I liked it. it was fun to ride. I like old Harleys in general. The pan I had I might even still have if I could have afforded to keep it running. The idea at the time was to save money over car ins.It ended up costing me more to keep it running than if I had just put a car on the road anyway. Now a properly done pan is a dependable bike. I know a guy that rides nothing else and he pretty much never breaks down but he also knows what he is doing when he builds them. We rode to ****** and back together me on my 66 TR6C and him on his 50 EL pan (all origonal). I don't ever want another Hardley but I do like them (wouldn't mind a knuckle to play with) I think Hardley stopped making motorcycles when they stopped making the shovel head.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!
