I've ridden a Road King, Softtail Deluxe, and a Softtail Standard. Lots of torque, glass smooth acceleration (EFI), and very vague handling and breaking. They all just felt weird, like take a shower with a rain coat on. Anyone else have that opinion? Nice enough bikes, but I was happy to get back on my America every time.
