Yes, I made the key chain too. I cut the top corners off so that the top cover fit down over.

I never said I didn't like it I do and best part I was trying to decide if I wanted to wrap the top of mine or do what midlife did and keep the origonal lid. Still not sure but I do like both ways.

Thanks for the compliments.Also,sand and polished fins on head to the intake,polished shifter arm, chrome sing arm nut cover,homemade insection plate and change the choke pull.

this was my homemade cover that I ran for a year until I saved enough to buy a real one. It is made from chrome tape! the strap conceals the seam. three bucks at autozone.

The powder particles themselves are staticly charged, so they do the stickin.
