Firstly, a big Hi from the UK
Right, last year I bought an 02 BA. As far as I know everything is standard apart from the standard length Triumph open pipes. Last year, every now and again the bike would apear to cut out for no more than a second, then cut back in with a massive backfire through the exhaust.
I have had the bike laid up since October and took it out last weekend for an 80 mile trip. A few miles from home it appeared to be running lumpy. Anything up to quarter throttle was rough but give it a good fistfull and it seemed to pull.
Yesterday I took it out and in town it was terrible, on the open giving it some it wasnt too bad, but not perfect. I have just taken the plugs out and they are clean, no fouling, no burning. I have turned the engine over with the plugs on the end of the leads, and the spark doesn't look that strong to me, but to be honest I am used to car engines so don't know how strong the spark should be.
The bike has done 11,000 miles. Where should I start looking?
