Damm Dogg, Its all good! remember sarcasm is thick in here. the truth is I probably am a dumb sh!t. I drink, I smoke and I ride without a lid most of the time. No matter how I justify my reasons they are MY reasons. I choose to do it that way. I think everyone here can respect that. Even if they think I am stupid guess what? I DON'T CARE!

hows this
"Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds."
"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
Albert Einstein

It's better than moonshine,
****** sure better than rain."

or is it that the world is more paranoid now
Yep, now 99% of the drivers out there have a cell phone pressed to their ears. USA Today had an interesting article on helmet laws Wednesday. Of course, who knows where they get the statistics. One ABATE guy said replealing helmet laws was pretty much a lost cause. Ben Rothlesberger seems to be the poster child. I greatly resemble all those middle-aged riders who are getting killed her in MD recently. In fact our ABATE director was killed last summer, course he was wearing a helmet. I bought an open-faced helmet that I will wear the majority of the time. Middle of summer, temps in the 90's and I'll probably still use my union-jack brain bucket. I sweat so damn much with anything more substantial, it literally runs in my eyes.

I dont see the big deal about about helmets. You could drop dead of a heart attack walking to your bike. NOBODY lives forever and when you stop and think about it isnt that what makes it fun?

I think somebody should change this here thread's title from "Motorcycle deaths" to "Motorcycle LIFES"....'cuz from what I'm readin', everybody here seems to be pretty much enjoying theirs. Hmmmm....Ya think maybe these here particular britbikes we all ride around(helmeted or not) just might have a little somethin' to do with all that? (okay...so that WAS a bit "saccharine"....so sue me!) (and NO...I AIN'T buyin' every friggin' knucklehead around here a d*mn beer...OKAY!!!)

Why is it you'll get a ticket for wearing a helmet in a car, and you'll get a ticket for not wearing one on a motorcycle?
