Thing is I have been riding for 31 yrs. and not wearing a helmet doesn't make me stupid. It is my choice and I enjoy it much more that way. I ride both hard and fast but at the same time cauciously. I take it for granted some clown is going to cut me off or pull out in front of me. On those long stretches with no traffic or cross streets I let it fly though! If I crash and die of head injuries I will have at least gone doing what I love. What better way to go? I don't wanna die sick in bed thats for sure.
