This will be my last word on the subject of helmets. Even if it is not the law, 99% of the time I would wear a helmet. However, that is all beside the point. Here is the point... I would much prefer it to be because I want to or don't want to rather than because the law says that I have to do it.
Whether you want to wear on or not to wear one for whatever the reason is, it should not matter. The only thing hat should matter is that it is because that is what you decided to do, not the government's control over your free will and choice.
