Sorry to hear about the kid but it seems to me helmet no helmet wouldn't make much difference in that case. It kills me the way they push the helmet thing.When most of us on this forum (I think)were growing up we didn't wear helmets or pads on our knees or elbows. We had bright lead paint on our cribs. We roamed the neighbor hood alone and after dark and our mothers cut chicken up on wooden cutting boards then cut up lettuce for a salad on the same board and we all survived!!
