Safer, not safer... it's an endless debate that will never end. The helmet debate should be about freedom of choice.
Unfortunately there was a five year old killed yesterday when she pulled out in the road on her bicycle in front of a truck. Its a very sad incident, she died instantly. On the news this morning the first thing they said was that she was not wesring a helmet. It really frustrates me that they never tell of any accidents when someone is wearig a helmet. They blatently act as if wearing a helmet will prevent an accident. Not prevent injury or death but prevent accidents.
