helmet or no helmet? Really when its bad its bad! I've heard it compared to open casket (with helmet), closed casket (no helmet). I have found that I see, hear and react better without one. With a helmet on Its harder to turn your head to look into a blind spot, harder to hear when someone is locking up their brakes and harder to look through a plastic shield.
