The roads are pretty clean now but there is still some sand & gravel residue. You'll see it generally near the lines, and center of the lane, and at intersections. These are the spots where cars are going the slowest and don't force the junk off the roads. We'll need a bit more spring rain to clean it away. Just yesterday I saw a big heap of salt in the middle of the road. That'll be there for a while.
Sometimes going through a curve you'll see the sun glint off the sand in the road, causing rectum pucker.
If all you get is the pucker and not a slipping tire, you're doing OK.
