The tab on the tank is no biggie, just drill a hole in the middle
I'd be more worried about the overall length, bar clearance (full lock on the bars), and WIDTH of the slot up the middle!! Gotta fit over the spine of the frame! Also, the front frame mounting tabs under the tank... Not sure.
As for the Tbird, etc. they have a much different layout, check one out from the front...
