Don't ever split a pack of bikes thats not your pack.
Not with a bike or especially a truck.
Riding formations are key if you do any pack riding. You are depending on the guys to the front, back and side of you to maintain their positions and they are depending on you doing the same.
All clubs, regardless of RC, MC or informal have rules about the formation, who leads, who tail guns etc. These people are in that spot for reason.
And you couldn't pay me enough to make me try and butt my way into any pack. Including the local HOG/BAR association ride.
